At the Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI), we believe that access to information and learning resources should be open to everyone, including persons with disabilities. We are committed to ensuring that our digital platforms, publications, and resources are accessible, inclusive, and usable by all.

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 / 2.2 Level AA standards as a baseline, and we continuously review and improve our website and digital materials to reduce barriers.

We acknowledge that some parts of our website or documents may not yet be fully accessible. Where such limitations exist, we are working to address them as quickly as possible. If you find an area that is not accessible to you, please inform us.

If you encounter any accessibility issue, please contact us at media@cpdi-pakistan.org with details of the page, section, and nature of the problem. We aim to respond within five working days with a workaround or an update.

To support different needs, CPDI is committed to:

  • Providing captions and transcripts for videos where applicable.
  • Using meaningful alternative text for images.
  • Ensuring that navigation is possible with a keyboard alone.
  • Maintaining clear text structure, good colour contrast, and simple layouts.
  • Avoiding flashing content or animations that may cause discomfort.
  • Making accessible formats, such as tagged PDFs or plain text versions, available on request.

Third-party content, such as embedded social media or external platforms, may not always conform to these accessibility rules. We strive to choose partners whose services are accessible, but we cannot guarantee full accessibility of external content. This statement will be reviewed and updated periodically, especially when major changes are made to our website or digital resources. The latest review was in [October 2025].

Thank you for supporting CPDI’s commitment to inclusive access to information.
