The Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, Pakistan (CPDI) is an independent, non-partisan and a not-for-profit civil society organization working on issues of peace and development in Pakistan. It is registered UNDER SECTION 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (XLVII of 1984).

The aim of the project is to establish an integrated system for identification, prioritization, and budgeting of developmental needs with an effective monitoring framework in place for improved evidence-based development planning with a view to avoid duplications and optimize development spending. The proposed system brings together and synergizes existing frameworks and information systems by creating linkages for strengthening the developmental planning and monitoring regime. The proposed system will thus activate the missing or suboptimal processes and will produce the requisite data needed to fully enforce the development planning and monitoring system as envisaged in the relevant policies and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Data Entry Operators shall perform the following tasks.

  • Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry.
  • Transcribes source data into the required electronic format.
  • Transfers information from paper formats into the software system
  • Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Responds to requests to retrieve data from the software system.
  • Shall be able to use basic office equipment (photocopy machine, facsimile machine, etc.) for acquiring data for entry into the software system
  • Maintains a satisfactory level of quality of the data entered into the software system.
  • Any other task incidental to the delivery of his/her activities or otherwise as directed by the Team Lead

Required Qualification and Skills:

  • The Data Entry Operators shall hold a bachelor’s degree in economics, public finance, accounting, commerce or related disciplines.
  • Should have at least 02 years of experience, preferably working with the public sector and shall have knowledge and experience of data entry or operating software/computer systems for data entry.  

Special Note:

  • CPDI is a non-smoking area. Smoking is not allowed in covered areas of CPDI offices, inside CPDI official vehicles, during the proceedings of any seminars, conferences or meeting conducted by CPDI or where any employee is representing CPDI.
