CPDI has recently launched a project in four provinces of Pakistan on Physical safety of Journalists which aims to provide training to journalists to adopt safety measures while reporting from difficult areas
This initiative aimed at training media persons across Pakistan on various techniques to ensure their own safety while reporting in the field and would be based on physical and technical guidelines for this purpose.
The training also aimed to improve the skills and safety of journalists and enable media stakeholders to produce a consensus code of conduct for the entire sector.
