Through this Press conference, CPDI and CRTI partners aim to raise demand for the implementation of Sindh Transparency and Right to Information Act. The government of Sindh enacted the Sindh Transparancy and Right to Information Act 2016 in March 2017 but the law awaits rightful implementation even after 10 months. A little progress has been done by the provincial government for the designation of PIOs in all public bodies of Sindh and establishment of Sindh Information Commission. 4 CRTI Partners from Karachi/ Sindh will take part in the press conference.
