Citizen Network for Budget Accountability (CNBA) is a network of 35 civil society organizations working on the issue of budget transparency and accountability in the Province of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. The network aims to ensure the participatory budgeting at district level to strengthen the effective mechanism of utilizing the public money on need basis at district level. CNBA has successfully conducted the “Study of Budget Making Process at District Level in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa”. This initiative aims to analyze the budget making process at district level and to identify and highlight the loopholes of budget making process at district level.
In this context Citizen Network for Budget Accountability (CNBA) and Centre for peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI) is organizing Launching Ceremony of “Study of Budget Making Process at District Level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” and “District Level Budget Consultation” according to following schedule in Peshawar:
