The event will gather government and civil society representatives as well as development partners to take stock of recent initiative taken by CPDI. The conference will provide a forum to share the findings of Public Expenditure Tracking Survey (PETS) in education sector of two districts of Punjab, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh. Participants will deliberate upon the education sector budgetary allocations, issues of transparency in budgetary process and spending patterns and will find a way forward to making every penny count. Government representatives will be urged to set budget priorities that make the dream of ‘free and quality education for all’ come true.
