CNBA is the network of civil society organizations, academia and NGOs
working on the monitoring of Government Budget – Strengthening the
participation of citizens, enforcing transparency & accountability and
pointing out the loopholes in the budget making process.
The main objective of the project is to promote democratization by
strengthening mechanisms of enhanced public participation in monitoring and
accountability of use of public funds by public authorities. It aims to brace the
participation of citizens in the budgetary process at all the levels of the
Government. In this regard CPDI has formulated a network of different
organizations from every district of the Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and
Baluchistan known as the Citizens Network for Budget Accountability (CNBA).
In this context Citizen Network for Budget Accountability (CNBA) and
Centre for peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI) is organizing district
