Coalition on Right to Information, (CRTI), established CRTI  RTI Champions Awards in 2015 to promote the use of right to information laws in the country. These awards are given in three categories i.e. journalists, citizens and
organizations. In 2014, the awards were given to Umar Cheema, in journalist’s category, Sabahat Ghaznavi,
citizen’s category and to Centre for Governance and Public Accountability in organization category. 2015 edition of
CRTI Champions Awards ceremony will be held at National Press Club on November 05, 2015 from 03:00 pm to 04:00 pm.
