CPDI has taken an initiative to arrange consultation with public information officers (PIO’s) to achieve following objectives:
• To enhance the capacity of public information officers on The Punjab Transparency and Right to Information Act 2013
• To discuss implementation status of law with respect to proactive disclosure of information, maintenance and indexing of information and annual report of public bodies pertaining to RTI activities.
• To canvas implementation challenges which hampers flow of information
• To draw policy recommendations for effective implementation on law
