Citizens and Local Civil Society Representatives are important stakeholders of “Democratic Local Governance for Development in Pakistan” project. This European Union funded project aims to build the capacity of all stakeholders to demand more efficient, transparent, inclusive and accountable local governance systems. In this regard a one day training is being organized by CPDI and FNF Pakistan. Advocacy, monitoring skills, citizens’ report cards and budget tracking is the main agenda items of the training. It is expected that after the training participants would be able to bring the issues and problems of their communities related to health, education, and water/sanitation into limelight for their solutions.
